Gold Mining Plant Plant Manager

Contract Duration : August to January (with potential extension)
Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on individual to manage the operations of a gold mining plant in Mozambique. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and operational experience with crushing and milling plant equipment and be capable of both running and troubleshooting the entire setup.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day operation of the gold processing plant
- Operate and troubleshoot the following equipment :
- Vibrating Grizzly Feeding Hopper with grizzly bars
- Jaw Crusher 400x600
- Trough Conveyor
- Secondary Jaw Crusher 250x400
- Milling Station
- Accumulation Pit
- Main MCC (Motor Control Centre)
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure optimal throughput
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with local support teams for logistics and supply
- Ensure safety and compliance with site procedures and standards
