Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, Project Manager / Team Leader fluent in English and Portuguese, to manage an international project for the implementation of an e-Government solution for the public sector in Mozambique. This position requires physical presence at our client’s premises in Maputo, Mozambique.

What You'll Do :

Coordinate project operations;
Train the client’s nodal users on the software solution;
Deliver train-the-trainer training;
Quality assurance on the Portuguese versions of documentation;
Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports;
You may need to travel outside within the country to provide.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications :

Academic engineering degree holder, preferably Computer Science specialization.

At least 7 years of professional experience;

At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager / Team Leader in the implementation of IT systems;

Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project), standards and methodologies (e.g. PM2, PMI, PRINCE2, Project Scheduling, Strategic Planning, Forecasting, Performance Tracking);

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Excellent command of the Portuguese and English languages.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications :

Experience in the development or deployment of e-Government solutions.
