Operational Familiarity : Experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and coordinating with multiple teams, such as air traffic control and ground support
Overview
Our client in Afungi is looking for Air Ground Marshaller to join their team for a job vacancy within the Air Transport Sector.
Responsibilities
- Aircraft Guidance : Direct aircraft to and from parking stands, taxiways, and runways using standardized hand signals or illuminated wands during low-visibility conditions.
- Safety Inspections : Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, including Foreign Object Debris (FOD) inspections to ensure taxiways and parking areas are clear of hazards.
- Coordination : Communicate effectively with pilots via hand signals and, when required, radio equipment to relay instructions from air traffic control.
- Pushback Operations : Guide aircraft during pushback maneuvers, coordinating with pushback tractor operators to ensure safe movement.
