Our client in Maputo is looking for a Sales Representative to join their team for a job vacancy within the Agricultural (Tabacco) Sector.
Responsibilities :
Visit retail outlets, wholesalers, and distributors in the assigned territory to promote company’s products and secure orders.
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Identify new sales opportunities by prospecting potential clients and expanding market reach.
Track daily sales activities, submit sales reports, and provide feedback on market trends and competitor activities to the Regional Sales Manager.
Ensure proper product display and visibility at retail points; coordinate with customers to manage inventory levels.
Adhere to sales targets, pricing policies, and company guidelines.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
2+ years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, tobacco, or retail sales.
Strong negotiation and communication skills; fluency in Portuguese (local dialects a plus) and basic English.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
Familiarity with the assigned territory and local retail landscape.
